Django Unchained Admirable Attempt

shameless Eye Candy!!

Django unchained

I have watched half of this movie, there are some scenes that are classic funny, then there are some harrowing scenes.  It’s one of those movies you watch from you own perspective, everyone will no doubt have their own take on it.  A few people have come out the move stunned into silence.  I on the other hand with my opinionated self have watched half the movie (It is in the Quentin Tarantino style long) Hey what do you know something we have in common.  No I don’t come with a edit button, a mute button , on / off button and No definitely no manual,  You take me as you find me.

So today despite only watching half the movie I felt confident enough to write this poem.  I reserve the right to write another poem once I have viewed the rest of the movie..... So watch this space

#46 Django Cango

I am not ready for Django
The humour in Slavery?
What we went through, so bravely
I am not ready to laugh
This wound still cuts deep
I can’t find the funny side
To Men and Women
Made to beg on their knees
I am not able to distant myself
From what happened
Two, or three generations ago
Not far enough for me
For me not to know
How wicked this is

I am not ready to smile
To be polite
About Quentin Tarantino’s
Escapism box Office Fantasy Flight!
